When you post a disscussion on a topic do believe your open minded about the responses you get. Is the reason of your disscussion to convince people of your opion or to better yourself?
The reason I ask I would like to answer discusions that people are open minded and want to better themselves, rather then argue. I have posted my opion and have seen that it was not right. Have You?

Often I post a discussion to hear suggestions or ask for information. I do learn alot here and only can hope to be to share something that someone can learn from. I know that all walks of life come through here and even my "friends" can have different views. Hope that think the same of me.

You seam pretty reasonable.
Its true there are alot of people here on mylot.
We should respect there opinions and how they feel.
I see alot of bashing wich isn't right. On One post a lady started, about her feelings about depression and She realized and stated she was wrong. People continued to make bad comments.
Thanks for the response!

Nah most of the new discussions I start is to get others feedback to get other ideas on the subject. I like the fact that we all have different opinions. I am very open minded about the responses. Sometimes I get things that surprise me but I take it with a grain of salt. Each to his own.

Hi I would like to believe I am open minded on most matters. True, I probably attempt to persuade people to see things my way, but I think if people have valid arguments and can back them up, then I can change my opinion. I have many times posted my opinion and when the discussion was finished, my opinion has changed. Great topic :)

I don't mind if someone agree's with my discussion or not . I put it up there so I can see all sides , sometimes you may feel one way but when someone explains there side you kind of see it that way also but had never thougth of it before . I like seeing all the answers and all the opinions everyone else has .

I don't mind others opinions as long as I don't feel like they are thinking less of me because of my thoughts or ideas on it.

I enjoy reading all the different veiws. we are all different. We can all read the same thing and interpret it differently. This makes life interesting. It would be a boring place if we all had the same oppinion.

Hello, I am the one who posted the depression comment. I feel like I got lots of bad feedback but that it was my fault in how I worded the discussion. I wish everyone had read the entire discussion but instead of just assumeing I was being an a$$. I can't blame people for how what I said made them feel though and it is fine with me that they chose to express it.
