rang-de-basenti or laggan

Difficult choice. Both the movies are equally good. Though i would choose RDB if I have to.

i would go for rang de basanti. especialy for the screenplay and the characters. amazing picturisation. theme wise, both movies are equally good. but rang de basanti beats lagaan in screenplay, acting and music including bgm

I don't like Aamir Khan-this is a man who has received so much from the country. He was all gaga when the then Prime Minsiter Vajpayee wanted a private screening of Laagan and went all around the press shouting about it. What does he do in Rang de Basanti? he shows a saffron party as the one that is bad, and the defence minister as a caricature of the defence minister of that party, a not so subtle message saying that he should be killed? How odid glorifying mrder-taking law into yuor own hands get past the sensors? Remember, he is far richer than most normal Indians, and the riches have been earned in India tking the Indians money, and what does he do? he goes all around the medis saying that he's scared to live her because of his religion, and then he gets involved in matters that don't concern him just to be in the limelight. Look at the other three Khan greats-Shh Rukh, Saloman and Saif, they are far more crelaible and better citizens of the country than Aamir.

I like RDB more. It has detailed characterization. A moral is told without being preachy & it appeals to the youth & is more concerned with current affairs.

I would go 4 lagaan as I am a fan of cricket.this was indeed a slow movie but the end was superb.

lagaan! rdb was well....unreal! 2 college going DUDES cant kill a cabinet minister like how they did in RDB...and no government kills people(non terrorists) holed up in a building like that! lagaan had romance, betrayal, fighting spirit, loyalty, do or die spirit...everything. it is the greatest movie ever made!
