Cheating on a loved one...

Is it right to cheat on the person you're with right now if that person had cheated on you in the past? I say what goes around comes around. If you were willing to forgive that person, they should be able to do the same. What are your thoughts?

If it hurt you so much when they cheated that you want to do it back, why are you with them? Why would you want to hurt them that much? And if it didn't hurt you.. well then there is something missing in the relationship, and maybe you should deal with that. They shouldn't "be able to do the same" by forgiving you, because by forgiving them and staying with them, you are committing yourself to trust, and trust works both ways.
