Monthly Passive Income?

Malaysia
December 20, 2006 10:17am CST
I have been working almost 30 years in various fields of career. Over the years, I realise that it is really risky to think that my job offers me complete security for my family. In the recent years, I have hunted the cyberspace for online business opportunities, attended countless business previews, etc in hope of finding the right extra streams of income. I have concluded that multiple streams of income is the answer to financial security. And the most important factor in receiving these income is that it need to be monthly and not annually. My expenses like bills, loans, etc do not come annually but monthly. What do you all think about my views on MONTHLY PASSIVE INCOME? Please feel free to comment so that I as well as all our friends on MyLot can benefit in our goal to achieve financial freedom.

I agree with you on the monthly passive income idea since this is something I have also been thinking about a lot latelly, ever since the birth of my daughter a month ago. I think we owe it to ourselves to become financially independant, and in order to do that, we must be aware of our monthly expenses, as well as find ways to get income without working. The multiple streams of income is a good idea, since it wold mean that if one of the streams dries up for any reason, the others will still be there.

Your views on monthly income are correct.some sources must be available with us for the extra income so that in case income of one area falls due to some reason, the second area can take care of that deficit.the only problem is to find time for such extra working from our usual work and family. Some online openings are available but they all needs lot of time to work on.

Yes, it is not easy to be right on the dot as to good online passive income. But it is not impossible. I have been through one whole year (this year) on searching and trying. Got scammed many times too. However, I have found some which did not take me more than a few hours a month, yet generating me monthly passive income. Apologies for not being able to share this here as I believe it's against this site's rules and regulations. I hope to share this when my new website is up by early January 2007. You can then visit me there too : http://www.creationhub.net

Yes, nothing comes easy but nothing is impossible. I have been scammed many times too. But as time goes by, we will all become wiser in our search for financial freedom. I hope to be able to share more in my new (still under construction) website : http://www.creationhub.net as soon as it's up. Have to honour MyLot's rules and regulations not to promote any businesses here. Thanks for your comment.

Yes I agre with regular income these days a passive income plan is very much requiered. I feel over the years our needs have increased, now just for example we can do nothing without cable network and niether can we survive without cell phones and Internet. Still there are people in arts of this world who have absolutly no acess to such things and they still are happy. I went to the village once they didn't even have electricity regularly there but still all works get done and people still pass time by sitting under the tree after the days work and sing or dance to entertain themselves. It was amazing and my kid says he is bored if by any chance there is no cable. Thats how the need of passive income and other sources of money has become essential for our survival. Well what I am saying is, it seems, a whole new topic for debate.

The key to financial peace is spending your money wisely and not wasting it. Dave Ramsey. Read everything he wrote and live by it. Is there more than one income in your family? If not, your spouse may need to get a job if your financial situation is in trouble with your current income...or possibly downsize your expenses..smaller house, less cable channels, slower internet.

Why did you just copy and paste the above answer? Personally, I have been looking at this as well and have made a decision on what I will be doing at the start of the new year. I purchased 2 ebooks and used those as guides to making some income online.

I don agree and I hope the boat we all sail in will be a great unsinkable ship. There is a saying somewhere that goes like this. It is good to admire a little boat but get on board a big ship. Let's hope with each other's help, we all will succeed this year to be financially free.

Monthly passive income is possible only through offline biz opps like insurance. But it is not possible online. Trust me, I have been online since 8 years, tried, tested and burnt my fingers only in every possible passive income opps.

I'm sorry, but that's simply not true. I associate and cross paths with people everyday who earn monthly passive income online every month, and are increasing their wages month after month with new products that essentially take care of themselves. They just "show-up" long enough to pick up the paycheck, track the traffic, and start up a new project. It's VERY possible.

Yes but be careful to the different sites out there. Do you celebrate Christmas? If yes, I will take this opportunity to greet you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (though is not yet Dec. 25, I may not have a chance to greet you anymore so I will do it now). http://dchallenger.blogdrive.com

if you are talking about high yield investment programs... come on. get real. none of this secures you a good monthly passive income. and even sites like mylot. how long do you think it'll last? there are monthly passive income, no doubt about it. but you have to be the pioneer. thinking about having monthly passive income at such a late stage would not secure you your ideal result. just my two cents worth of thoughts.

To care for financial freedom is certainly a good decission. It needs a lot of patience, careful speculation and creative planning to achieve it in the real sense. Otherwise one may be confused as a scammer by many others. Speaking responsibilly, where there is a will there must be a way. One has to discover it of his own for welfare of his as well as many. Regarding monthly passive income, I think since you will be the part of a system that cares for financial freedom on monthly basis for many. So monthly planning is more preferred to any other period of planning. Thanks.

passive income is a must thing that everyone should have. Instead of their fix income from their work, I think we should generate passive income from other places. just in case that we are out of job or sick that require extra money urgently. After all, if our passive income could exceed our fix income, dont you think it is time to retire? :)

IF you research properly and invest in the right rental properties there can be a lot of passive income from rental homes. After you've made back what you put into the house (aside from a few expenses here and there) there is a LOT of money to be made in real estate. And once your properties are paid for that's money coming to you without having to do anything. Passive income is a powerful thing people. Get involved.

Multiple streams of income are a good way to secure your finances. But, the problem is identifying the business opportunities. Even I have been searching for a profitable business opportunity on the net for quite sometime now, but no luck. :( I am almost convinced now that all "Earn money on the net" schemes are scams. Nevertheless, it is a good idea to have an alternate income source by starting your own side-business like freelancing!

Great views on this thought. I enjoy knowing I am doing things online besides my income I make from my Full time job bringing me in income to help pay my Bills, and extras I might need in life. I am doing an Online Business, and writing here on myLot, etc. and bringing in extra $$ each month. Some of it I am able to save up for a Rainy day with as well, so this is time well spent. I know for me if I can make my time online pay for itself, and then some, I am a lot Happier. It never hurts to be able to have $$.
