LiveOps Questions

I just found about LiveOps and I was wondering if anyone out here in myLot land is a LiveOps worker? For those of you that don't know, LiveOps is a work at home opportunity for people to provide call center support. If you are or were with LiveOps, can you please provide me with some information? How much are you getting paid per hour for an average call? How much money did you have to spend to get started (phone line hookup, $30 background check, etc)? Do you have any monthly fees? How many hours per week are you able to bill on average? These are all questions that I didn't really see answers for on http://www.liveops.com but I am really interested in the program. I have 7+ years of experience working in a call center (including a couple years managing one) but I want to make sure that that this is a viable option for home based employment.

Hi, I have worked for LO for about 15 months now. I love it!!! I am a stay at home Mother and I work for LO part time to supplement my income. I can tell you this. There are people working for LO full time who make in the $30,000 + range. The start up cost are minimal if you are thrifty and shop around. I think the biggest expense for most everyone is having a 2nd phone line installed.

Thanks. I will need to talk my wife into getting a job so I can be a WAHD. : ) $30,000 isn't bad though for working from the comfort of your own home. I'm working on a few other things that take very little time and can be done from my house. If those work out, the LiveOps just might be enough to suppliment the difference between all that and my current day job.

I work for them and they are great. I work for another company as well and the pay with liveops is better. I like working for both companies and there are pros and cons to working for each one, but I would not trade being a wahm for anything.

Work for both companies taking calls? If so, do you use the same phone line?

I don't work for them. However, I have read on other forums that the company is a really good company to work for. I am looking into being a at home mom and I think that I would apply to this company when the time comes to start looking for a job.

I heard about it because I saw that one of the top people that had something to do with eBay's success took a high position with them. After reading what little that I could find I was definitely interested. My background is basically phone support and I feel that I'm very good at it. My only concern is trying to use this and a few other part time things to attempt to support my family. Thanks for commenting!

Yes i do liveops. Its a great opportunity and by far the best place to work if you don't mind doing calls for infomercials. the base pay is 25cents/min and you get more money for a variety of things if you sell them during a call. weekends are the best time to work. you can easily bring in $50-$100+/day. it will be slow at first till you build your status up. but they also have other lines you can do too but i can't disclose those. You do have to pay $30 for your background check but i made that back with my training calls. I don't have monthly fees besides my 2nd phone line, but thats just $8/month for just incoming calls only. hope this helps

Thanks so much for commenting. I was afraid this one would slip away never to be answered... $50 to $100 is great @ home work. I was wondering if some of it was sales related calls. I'm going to look into what an incoming only line will cost here and take a look at my finances to see if I can pull it off. Thanks again!
