So,I believe that the earth generally speaking is heating up. I agree we are contributing to it but I don't believe humans are the main reason it's happening. I also believe that we shouldn't feel resposible for all of the changes and obligated to try to reverse it. I do believe that it's great to make wise eco-friendly choices like recycling, tree planting, keeping chemicals/hazardous waste separate from regular garbage etc. but I do not like the idea of forcing others by new legislation to become more environmentally friendly. The Kyoto Accord is something I don't agree with, even though overall my country does. I see it as a way to make business and life in general more expensive which will hurt middle to lower income families, as well as businesses that can't afford to comply and still make profits. I also believe that just because one plant in North America shuts down, it doesn't mean our air, water etc. will be safer, it probably means that it will give more market share to countries like China where I heard most major cities have air so polluted, they are like our dirtiest industrial cities from the 1920's and 30's. That being said, the climate where I live, I would consider it cold and damp. I would like to see winters on average at least 25 F warmer and summers on average at least 10 F warmer, with or without an increase in summer humidity. I think our warmest winters on average were like 7-8 F warmer and our record warmest summers about 5-6 F warmer than average, so we have a long way to go. in conclusion, NO it not the END ! Good luck and have a nice day

if all the ice melted in antarctica and greenland then yes most of the world would drown, but thats not going to happen so i wouldn't worry too much. It would take a very large increase in temperature to melt all the ice in the world
