Smoking and obesity, what the difference?

It’s social legittimate to reproach or to joke a smoker. I can list him all damages to its body. The cancer risk and many others bad things about the smoke. I can allude to its impotence too. And smoker, of course, dont reply and he say just “oh yes…i could stop smoking…”. But you never can try to say a word against obese people! Oh no! What the bad education! Want you talk about this? Can you explain this great difference? (of course: a person that smoke in front to non smoker is not a fair person, but I dont talk about this, now)
