GAY MARRIAGE?!?!

So what do you think about Gay Marriage? Personally I don't believe in it but I do think there should be some kind of laws instituted that give gay couples rights to be legal guardians of each other so incase one becomes ill the partner can legally care for them and take care of their affairs. I also think there should be some laws put into place so that if one partner dies no one can come along, Usually the family of the deceased and rip everything out from under the feet of the surviving partner. One would say thats marriage but its not. Thats only part of it. While I don't believe in Legal Gay marriage another part of me knows that a gay couple can love just as deeply and just as strongly as any heterosexual couple can. Does that make it right? For me, no it doesn't make it right but I do believe it's real. Do I not like gay people? Ofcourse I do. I don't judge people on what they do in their bedroom and whom they do it with but I can say, while I don't agree with homosexuality it doesn't make me dislike the person who lives that kind of lifestyle. While I may not like how they live that doesn't mean they are a bad person. What are your thoughts?
