favorite Sandman quotes

A profound part of the Sandman experience is the process of uncovering what Gene Wolfe (in his introduction to Fables and Reflections) calls "cryptic truths". Neil Gaiman is a master at stringing together words that express a unique and singular worldview, thrown casually into an otherwise ordinary conversation or inserted, almost as an afterthought, in the cracks and spaces separating the pages.
What Sandman quote has affected you most? Which line can you recall by heart?

Delirium is my favorite character, and I really love it when she just says something so matter of factly that makes so much sense. I also love the fact that even though she is talking about the Endless, it really applies to everyone, in a way.
