The Indian cricket Team ,like many things about India, never ceases to surprise .A fortnight after losing the one day series to the proteas ,and thereby fuelling a war of words in living rooms,Tv studious and Parliament ,the Team has bouced back to win a Test match for the first timein south africa.True test series is different game from one day match.Experience comes handy in Test match situations as against fitness in limited over game. The one day team is yet to achieve the goal of winning. The win in Wanderers is creditable also because the south africans are considered to be far superior team and were playing on home turf. The Indian team ,especially the captain and coach has been under tremoundous pressure after lossing in one day matches. Many were impact the return of former captain ganguly would have on the side. The injury from dravid and patch from Sachin ,besides the one-day debacle, had provoked him.The spectics have lost the bet,at least for the time being.Cricket has once gain proven to be game of glorious uncertainties. To think of it,which sport is not. However ,it is rare that fans accept the unpredictable nature of sport or accept defeat with equanimity .They refuse to accept that a game is as much about losing as it is about winning. Cricket in India epitomises the fanaticism of the fan who will accept nothing but sucess.Unfortunately ,the cricket fanatic sets the debate on the game at all level of india. The war in the living room is re-enacted even in parlimaent.Since the cathartic victory on monday the fans would have forgotten the thrashing the Men and Blue received in one-Dayers.If the Team losses the next match, the rage will,in all probability return.

We cant predict the indian team's performance.there is no consistency. They always prove that they can play in both the ways..a thrashing defeat and empahthetic win.it will be good if they continue the same form till the world cup.
