I know that this one has probably been beaten to death by now, but history has an interesting way of re-writing itself as time goes by. I am particularly interested in understanding how people feel about our (U.S.A.'s) innocence in this war on terrorism? I find that the parallelism with Pearl Harbor to be equally interesting as an example of an opinion of the meaning of war. Are not civilian casualties an expected part of war? A key issue is to realize that a big part of the world is not limited to the definition of war set by the Geneva Convention. Keeping this in mind, as we step forward in an attempt to bring democracy to the world, should we not be aware that the war we bring (consciously or not) will be brought back to our homes? How then do we lead by example, and how then do we truly ensure our own freedoms and security?

the sad ting about 9-11 is the fact that there was a man inside the CIA who had been tracking al qieda, and he suspected an attack on the WTC and was put in charge of it's defense. there are some shows on every now and again about it, look for them
