What would your race have to do with it. Race has no effect on how the chemicals would affect someone. You probably should not inhale too many chemicals -- well, at any time, not just when you are pregnant -- but that is whether your black, white or hot pink. Did someone tell you this that they heard or their momma told them and she heard it from her momma. It sure sounds like an old wives tale to me -- and those old wives have a lot to answer for considering how wrong they usually are.

hmmmmmmm i think id would be depends on the perm you use some of the stroungly sujust not to.

well actually i did perm my hair and nothing happened.you might want to check with your doctor to see if its okay.

I think no matter what race you are you arent supposed to do anything chemically related to your hair when your pregnant. Just ask your doctor, he/she would know better than any of us..........
