Do pawn shops just rip u off?

Im gettin rid of some of the stuff i no longer use, ie, guitars, drum sets, etc
Should i sell on ebay? or should i just try a local pawn shop?

I would try Ebay or some other online auction thing, because pawn shops won't give you what you want for something. They will check it out, and give you what they want to give you, especially if its something thats in demand. They usually sell stuff at a higher price than what they gave you.

Of course they do. They are in it for a profit and aren't going to give you fair value for something if it means they'll make less money selling it.

I would give ebay a try, if you don't want to pay the postage, maybe say pickup only.I wish you luck!!!

They're ok. You have to be smart and figure out how much you could get for an item on ebay compared to the pawn shop. Pawn shops make their money when the person who bought in the item wants to buy it back, so if that's not your plan you won't do too badly, but they have to make a profit. Cutting out the middle man is the ideal solution.

if i were you johnnymurder i would sell on ebay only reason is you would probably get more money for the items your selling, those pawn shops don't even give you half of what your items are worth.
