Do you think the Nintendo Wii can get very dangerous?

I have heard that the connecting cords have snapped...but then that could also cause what you are mentioning. I think that people are just getting carried away and not paying attention to what they are doing. I think that they are becoming overally hyper and forgetting thier own strength. It is unfortunate because it is one game that could actually get kids off the couch and involve the whole family...it would be a shame if it was banned.

haha i knew someone would bring this up! i dont think so. its not the systems fault for people being clumsy. they just get way too into the game. i love the wii and if i got injured id probably blame myself..not the game.

I don't think it's any more dangerous than normal exercise, and you don't hear people being told, don't exercise! The trouble is that the types of people playing this game are really really unfit. That's why they are getting injured. They are effectively trying to play a full game of tennis straight out after sitting on their backsides getting soft for years. Perhaps Nintendo should recommend they go to the gym first before buying the game!

It all depends how you play it, if you swinging like a maniac then yea, but you dont need to be swinging that hard.
