I'm new to mylot and still learning my way around. Hope it's ok to ask this how do you choose who to add to your friends list? Looking to make friends to have interesting discussions with.
Thanks

I very rarely ask anyone to be my friend. I guess I am afraid of rejection.lol. I wait until someone asks me and I have never turned anyone down. Welcome to myLot!

And I approved it. Thanks for asking. I got to warn you though, I'm not all that good with coming up with good discussions. But I try.

Thanks for the add. LOL it took me this long to get the nerve up to ask this question. Mostly just been responding to other questions, Am trying to think of more to ask. Going to check out your discussions to see if I might can contribute to them.
Thanks again

I will first check out what type of discussions/responses the person who wishes to add me as a friend has. Those that post nonsense are not added.

Each person has different needs and thoughts about this.
When I am asked to be a friend, I look at their profile questions. If I can relate, and they answer their posts, I will accept. If not, I do not accept. Good luck dear.

i will approve all request for friendship but i will only request friendship from those that i enjoy their discussions. those friends in my list that dont respond to my discussions at all OR only start silly and repetitive discussions will be deleted. i always respond to my friends' discussions, so i cannot have too much junk discussions under those 'discussions that my friends started' :D

well do look around for good discussions, and if you find any discussion that seems interesting or if you find someone who has posted a quality reply, add them as a friend, most often they would add you.
