Making New Friends

Hi, I just moved to a new city to start a small business here. But I have no friends or contacts here. So I feel emptyness.. Please give me some ideas to make new friends here in a totally new city..

While doing your business, you'll come accross lots of people. It's best to make them your friends first. Just get to know them. Chat with them about their lives, likes and dislikes. When you have time go out to dinner or something with these people. Then you'll meet their friends.........and slowly your friendcircle will keep growing.

Increasing relations with business contacts is a good ideas.. I should find some people with similar interests and age..

If you play soccer , find some group of people playing soccer and join , soccer is a global man language yea lol

well you could join some clubs or organization that have the same interests as you. that way you're sure that you have something in common with your new group of friends. and ask your friends if they know anybody in the place where you moved, and ask them to introduce you.
or if you have some dogs.. walk them. people tends to be more friendly if they saw you with a dog.. and you can struck up conversation with fellow dog lovers.=)
and lastly, just smile. not a goofy, lunatic smile, just a simply smile. a friendly face goes a long way. goodluck!
