Why do people have kids?

I know- to populate the species. That's not what I'm talking about. I was reading an article today about women who feel so stressed out from working, tending the house, the husband and the kids. They wish they had time to just relax, but all they hear is 'mommy' this and 'mommy' that. They can't go to the store without taking the kid. They have to read a story to the kid instead of getting snuggly with the husband. They can do nothing without thinking about the kid first and they get mad about it. Hello! You should have thought about that before you had it/them. Parenting is the hardest job in the world. If you didn't want to be interrupted while on the toilet, you should have gotten a Furbee. I know of women who love the parenting aspect and don't mind being bothered 50 million times a day by their kids, but some of these women I read about and listen to- it's nuts. If you don't like kids then why did you have them?!
