What activity you do during traffic hours in order not to get bored in a car?

Perhaps the reason you're in so many traffic jams is because you and all the other drivers are sleeping instead of driving!
I live in Iowa, so there's really no such thing as a traffic jam ... unless there's a tractor on the road during harvest or planting seasons.

Was gonna overlook it but a little moron joke came to mind reading your response imadriscoll.....
Why did the little moron stand at a busy intersection of the city with a piece of bread in one hand and a knife in the other?
He heard that there was always a traffice jam there and he wanted to try it...
I apologize.....but maybe some other myLoters from my era will remember the little moron jokes. I am sure that it is not PC nowadays, however.

Usually I play mobile phone games to kill the time. If not I will open the radio and listen to my favorite channel.

While I don't have this problem nowadays since I am retired and rarely go into the city center I used to do crosswords when I was stopped in traffic. Would never think of closing my eyes as it would have taken a couple of mack truck horns to wake me up again.
