There are probably many different methods to getting old stains off of white linoleum. What have you tried? Bleach may tend to turn the floor yellow but there are other home remedies like baking soda, lemon juice or even comet cleaner that might work. I would type "stain removal" into your browser and see what comes up. Sometimes the homemade cleaners are better than the commercial ones. Good luck to you and congratulations on your "new" home!

Yes loved1 I have tried the lemon juice remidy and the baking soda as well...The stain in the middle of my kitchen floor seems to be some kind of ground in grease or somthing to that sort...I'm not sure about bleach I've always also been told that It may make the floor turn yello so I am leary to try that...I think my mother was telling me about peroxide but wouldn't that be to harsh?

I just thought of something else that may or may not work on getting the stain off of your linoleum. I guess it is worth a try! My husband is mechanic and my sister used to work at a deli. Both of them had greasy clothes. The thing I used to get every bit of grease out of their clothes is Tide laundry soap(liquid) and automatic dishwasher powder(like electosol or cascade) I think the dishwasher powder cut the grease! I would not think it would hurt to try making a paste of these two things and leave it on the spot for an hour or so before wiping it off. There is also a product called Dawn power disolver that comes in a little trigger spray bottle for really greasy baked on gunk. It cleans up the nastiest looking cookie sheets ever. It works kind of like oven cleaner which is another thing you might try. After that, I would buy a throw rug! lol good luck!
