what's your stand about "ignorance of the law excuses no one"? do you agree with it or not? what if the people surrounding you intended not to tell you about the law and you break the law. who should be punished, you or the people around you?

Before they impose that law, they should well informed all the people about the laws. what if the people didnt know about these? so the government should have a policy to inform and instruct the people thru barangay meetings so that that law can be imposed

In my country, before a law will be implemented the media announces so every people would at least have an idea of the new law. Sometimes our barangay also had some meetings so that the people will be aware of the new created law.

I agree to it because as a citizen of a country under a Constitution, a citizen of legal age should know the by-laws and regulations of the country. Ignorance to the law means the lack of responsibility of the citizen to think out, discern and know his act. People who violated the law due to ignorance of law should be sued the same way with no special treatment since it is their own irresponsibility.

Definitely you are right. I just hope people won't abuse the ignorance of the other person and let him fall under the hands of the law. I think people like the first person should be responsible to teach the ignorant one what to do and what not to do.

We have to abide with that otherwise it will be used by evil criminals as an excuse in courthouses. As citizens it is our duty to familiarized ourselves with existing laws.

Yes I agree with you. It is definitely our responsiblity to know the rules that runs our country. And I wouldn't want any criminals explaining to the court that he is ignorant that is why he accidentally commited the crime.

I think that the difficulty can be the fact that there are many and many laws. In general, if you change the country where you live, you can have some problems to accostumate to new habits, but I think that is just at the beginning.

There are many laws that is because we want our country to become in order. It is difficult eventhough I am not changing country. I guess it is our responsibility to learn and to know by heart at least the basic rules of our country.
