This must be the most romantic sweet movie ever! Keanu Reeves is coming home from the war and meets a pregnant girl on the bus. He goes with her to her family's hacienda and pretends to be her husband. He falls in love with her, of course, and they live happily ever after. Well, not right away. I highly recommend watching this movie if you get a chance. If you have seen it, what did you think and what is your favorite part? If you haven't seen it, please don't comment.

This is one of my favorite movies. Keanu Reeves' character is the sweetest guy! I like the part where the girl shows him how to fan (I think it's when the vineyard is on fire)..it's a great romantic movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. The story is sweet and all of the actors are good, and it's just beautifully shot. The images of the people wearing those wings out in the vineyard are glorious to see. Also glorious to see, Keanu and the female lead of the movie. I think it's a great movie and would also recommend.

I loved it too! I'd never heard of it, or if I did I'd forgotten, until a few weeks ago when I recorded it when it was on HBO. I definitely could watch it again and again. I have to say my favorite part was also when they were stomping the grapes. Just to see the joy on their faces was so beautiful! Has the young lead actress been in anything else? She was amazing.

Keanu Reeves is the perfect guy in this movie. He's such a gentleman. I can't believe the way he helped that poor girl. He was willing to do that to a complete stranger without anything in return. I would do anything to meet a guy like him.
My favorite part is the scene after his first meal with the family, when he walks out of dinner and she follows him. The conversation they had was so deep and sad. You could feel his loneliness and how lost he felt in this world and how hard his childhood was.
