It's about symbolism in the cards and what the symbols mean to you. Embrace the cards as they can help with direction in your life. For sure Tarot cards are not something you want to share with any and every one. Cynics. Skeptics. They're everywhere. No matter what your interests are you'll always find believers and non believers. That's life. Do what YOUR heart and mind feel. Don't let others opinions alter yours. Be true to yourself and the higher power.

the cards give information more for guidance. they cannot predict the future as it all depends on what path YOU choose to take. the cards can guide you through difficult challenges and put you mind at ease but it is down to you if you take that guidance or ignore it.

I have been playing around wih the cards and done a reading for a few friends who wasn't scared to and they said that they were more correct and helped them make a decision they had been trying to deal with for awhile. So as you said it can give guidence if you are opened minded to them.

Some people look at Tarot cards as a guidence tool to help guide you to make the bestter decision on something. I have been using them for a little while now and the people I have read for says it is so right sometimes it is scary. One was so right she refuses to have me read them for her because the truth scared her to much. But thanks for your opinion to my discussion everyone is allowed their opinions and some believe different then others. I use the cards only as a guidence tool nothing more.

Do you always believe everything your friends tell you?
If you do then there's no need for you to be asking us about Tarot.
Persoally no, I do not think or see how they could be bad luck. But what I think & fdeel does not really matter since it's not my life. What does your heart say, do YOU feel that they are bad luck? If you're not comfortable with them then there's no need for you to even keep them then.

I am so sorry that you have such close minded friends, sweetie. By all means, if you are connected to your cards and feel that they speak to you, use them. Don't let the skeptics scare you away from cultivating what could be a very useful and helping ability in the future. Just keep working with them. They are not bad luck or evil or any of those things. Don't listen to the people who say this to you. Follow your heart and intuition on this.
