Do you believe that families can be happy with different blends of religions? For example a catholic woman being married to a jewish man. What if they have children why do they decide what religion to raise their kids. What if the families don't agree with their son/daughter dating someone of a different marriage? What is you all's opinion of all of this?

No that would never work. There would always be conflict about different beliefs and who should accept which. Still love is a funny thing. If I fell in love with someone then one of us would have to accept the others belief otherwise we would not be happy.

I think ultimately, the couple has to decide. The family should be understanding of what the man and woman want. Honestly, I think "religion" is overrated. For the most part, religion is just what our society has created over many, many, years. It's sad that humans have to have religions come between them, regardless of man/wife/kids relationships. There are people out there who won't even be Friends because they have different beliefs and I just think it's sad. There's so much we miss out on by NOT having relationships with others that have other beliefs. Compromise is an important skill to learn and use. Thanks for the thought provoking question.
