Does your sense of smell decrease with age?

Smell is one of the best indicators of a wines quality. It is comprised of varying factors: the aroma, the bouquet and the nose of the wine. If off, it could indicate a bad or underage wine. Experiment to train your nose to appreciate the "smell" of a wine. so does ur sense smell reducing with ur increase with age..?

i think u r saying opposite ...when u go higher sense of smell will increase friend...that is they r so what mature...and they try to collect more information and they will not go immediatly for the one dission they will sense all the think then only they take the desission...

no u r wrong it is fact that both are inversly proportional to each other and at age of 40=50 smelling pwer decreses to 10-15 %.

Yes, not only sense of smell, all sense perceptions are naturally going to reduce. That is jsut the law of nature. We are dying each minute and the way it is working is we are losing sense perceptions :)
