I need to loose weight but my feet are always hurting. My doctor said loosing the weight will help. I do sit ups but my abbs are not very strong due to a surgery I had last year. What exercises can I do that will not hurt my feet or stomach?

Is there a local school, community center, or YMCA where pool aerobics are held? Pool exercises are very popular and effective for people who are unable to exercise aerobically on a treadmill or by walking. You might also consider an eliptical machine or a stationary bicycle, as these would put less pressure on your feet. I'm sure that your doctor has instructed you to follow a lower-calorie diet in addition to exercising. It's also important to drink lots of water; among other things, water helps to lubricate the joints and muscles, decreasing some of the soreness caused by exercise. Good Luck!

You can loose weight without exercise. Just drink 8 glasses of water, to flush you, don't snack, and increase fruits and veggies. Good luck dear.

This is possible but you may actually be losing muscle this way. It leads to a vicious cycle of gain and lose because you need muscle to burn calories.

With the new year coming in it sounds like a good new years resolution for me too to loose weight. How about a support team.
