He was the front man I don't know about the leader, I don't think any of them really was the leader, they all worked together. the band wouldn't have been the same without any one of the members

From interviews it seems like Jimmy Page was the leader of the band. Plant and Page did a lot of the writing together but John Bonham and John Paul Jones did a lot of great rhythm section work that really made led zeppelin explode as a band. I dunno, I honestly don't think any one of them is a leader, they collectively created a sound. Also, their solo careers were unsuccessful, not amounting to anything close to the caliber of led zeppelin.

i think there is two leader for led zeppelin, robert plant and jimmi page, they are 2 in 1 leadership. Without them Zeppelin is nothing.

I think they all made the group what it is. It/they wouldn't have been Led Zeppelin if they hadn't all come together to form it.
