Ultima Online still alive?

In the last years many new MMORPG has been created, obviously using modern technologies, but most of them are focused on combat. I think the old Ultima Online is still the best one for real "Role Playing". Don't you think the same? If yes, in which shard do you play (if you play)? Which do you think are the best?
