How will I know whether an image is copyrighted?

Even if there is no explicit copywrite mentioned for a picture it is still copywrited. Every picture you take is automatically copywrited as your own. There is no other action you need to take to make it "official". So I wouldn't take any picture from the internet without asking the owner first and if you upload it here you are getting paid for it and that might void any rights the owner might have given by saying you could use them for free.

If you take the picture you can do what you want with it, including uploading it to this site. If you find a picture on a website on the internet and download it to your computer then upload it to this site then you are violating the rights of the person who originally took it.
My advice is never display a picture that you did not take yourself.

I look for royalty free images. You can always scroll to the bottom of the website to see if there is a little c in a circle (the copyright sign) or the word copyright. Sometimes there will be a link stating whether or not it's okay to use thier images.

If an image is copyrited..then it wil have a watermark of the owner of the image in it..if not u can use that image..
