Man falls 2 miles and live!!

A skydiver has miracoulously survived after his parachute failed to open. The fact he survived is amazing but his injuries are so minor.
He punctured a lung and broke an ankle after landing in a blackberry bush. Now with Christmas approaching, I'm sure he will be givin extra thanks this week.

I think ive seen a news like this in the Ripleys show on AXN . Really miraculous how these people survive !! There was another sky diver who had the same prob but in adition to that he fell on Live Current lines.. Thankfully he survived too ..

The Laws of physics say it's not possible but it happens..How?
I know people who've fell over and done more damage.

That is crazy! Honestly though...if someone's chute doesn't open its because they got careless and didn't full check everything.

That's not entirely true...chutes are designed and packed to open and most skydivers will also have an AAD (Automatic Activation Device) that will open your chute if you are unconcious.
But there are other reasons besides carelessness...unconcious is a fairly strong argument. What if another skydiver hit you in freefall and knocked you unconcious?
Also height awareness...it doesn't happen as often these days but there are a few incidents that come to the conclusion that the skydiver simply lost height awareness.
