When it comes to your loved ones in your family, and you
receive a phone call while you are at your work place. You
get the news that one of your family members where injured
in a wreck or some other accident injury.Would you leave your
job or work place to be with the loved one that was injured
even though you didnt know how bad the outcome was.Leave to
think that phone call, you where only thinking the worst. And
then your job or work place wanted to fire you ove the fact.
Now the question and your thoughts what is more important at
that time when the phone call came to your ear your injured
love one or your job at that time.remeber the state of mind
you had at that time. Please leave your thought.

I would leave. If it is a good job worth having I am sure that they would understand the need for you to leave. If I was fired...oh well, I can always get another job! Family ALWAYS comes first with me no matter what.

This happened to me nearly 10 years ago, I was a veterinary nurse working in a large animal practice, I had got a phone call saying my brother had fallen off a roof, so I went to the boss, told him what I knew and he said " were too busy to let you go home today" well put it this way he was a hell of a lot busier after I left. Lol.

My family is more important than any job. If my job doesn't understand this then it is not worth having. I warn employers up front that if there is a family emergency I am leaving. I was a single mother and my kids come first.
