Do you think the reason the kids today are rude is because the parents didnot correct them?

I think there are a lot of different things at play here. Kids are significantly ruder and badly behaved than I remember when I was a kid, or at least they're much more open about it.
I think that some of it has to do with parents who don't have much time with them and are not as strict as they should be. I think that some of it has to do with children watching so much television, with so many shows including smart aleck kids who mouth off to everyone.
I told my son earlier today, and I firmly believe it, that if he learns nothing else from me in his whole life he will learn respect. I hope he learns much more than that from me, but if I can only impart the respect then I will still feel like I have done okay.

I don't think kids are just rude because of their parents. It is their environment that has the greatest influence on them as well as their friends, though parents also play a large roll, it doesn't mean they are fully responsible for the kid's rude language.
