Ever lived in a different climent then you grew up in? I have! I grew up in the midwest, the only thing i can honestly say about it is that I miss the thunderstorms. I don't miss anything else! I live in SoCal now. And we don't have real thunderstorms like the ones that suddenly happen in the midwest with all the thunder and lightening! I miss dancing in the warm summer rains. We don't have that here.. How about you? Miss anything that was home to you?

I lived in Iowa when I was little and used to go back for holidays. I used to love the snow in the winter and the thunder and the lightening bugs in the summer. My family would always make a big deal wbout what to do if we heard a tornado siren, too, which was a huge excitement and novelty. I lived in California mst of my older childhood so it was very different. Now my children are growing up in Ireland and visiting CA for their holidays and loving the sun and the beach instead of the rain and the damo of their normal home.

I grew up in northern wisconsin, but later moved to california. I always missed the seasonal changes, and the snow.
