If you're a nature lover, I'd recommend an early morning walk from the foothills to the top of Sinhagarh Fort. The 'Zunka-Bhakri, thecha (all three are standard fare in the local cuisine) and dahi that can be bought for peanuts on the top is a must try. Along the same routh there's khadakwasla & Panshet to explore.
The forest-like Pune University is the place for long walks, chai, sabudana, vadapav, missal etc. and take a wiff of the botanical garden there if fauna thrills you.
As for good scenic places for a sunday lunch you could try Ambrosia which is a nature retreat (can be reached from the NDA circle). There are a couple of good restaurants around the NDA circle as well.
While in Pune, NDA (Natonal Defence Academy) is another must...only you need to know somebody from the defence forces to get in (remember to carry helmets if you intend to use your bike there).
...and ofcourse you have the regular Multiplexes ...e-square, Inox, City pride if you're keen on catching a flick.

WEll if your looking streets to shop for try
Laxmi road , Deccan Gymkhana, Fashion Street,Chor bazaar
For malls there are a host of them
Pune Central - Bund garden Road
Nucleus Mall- Sadhu Vasvani Chowk
Kakade Mall - Mg Road
Pyramid Mega Stores - SB ROAD.
Big Bazaar is where you get your stuff at resonable rates
If you love historical structures then
Go To the Aga Khan Palace - the structure is beautiful, the place serene and the walls echo the history of Gandhiji's house arrest. His ashes too are preserved there.
Shanivar Wada is another beautiful piece of work.
Shivaji's Lal mahal is not that impressive but okay if you like looking at canvasses galore.
Shinde's Cchatri is another nice place in Wanowrie.
Pune university too is an interesting place povided you have a bike because the walk could be pretty long and tiring.
If you like elegant structures go to hinjevadi IT Park The structures are really cool there....you'll be mesmerized by the MNC's there.
Now if you're more of the adventurous type then you could go trekking to Sinhagad fort. The view from there is breathtakingly beautiful. On your way there you will pass by Khadakwasla Dam which is nice.
You want to experience the crazy side of Pune then drop in at City pride, Inox or E-Square Multiplexes
