Do you prefer skipe or messenger?

In my computer home I use Windows Live Messenger

I prefer using Skype to MSN Messenger. Most of my family and friends use Skype to beat long distance bills that really add up. I also like to be able to speak directly to someone insead of constant typing. Cheers!

I prefer Skype to Messenger. Sometimes there is no voice clarity on messenger (if I'm using messenger to make calls) Most of the people I know..friends and family have skype back home, so really costs me nothing when I call them.

It is true the the number of users on MSN outnumber that of Skype users, but each have benefits. MSN's only benefit is that of having numbers, of course. I think Skype is truly the better program because it offers better options. You have the ability to talk free to anyone in the world who also has Skype, and can even make cheap calls to landlines as well. Not only that but you can have an IM chat and do file transfers as well. MSN also has emoticons, so if you're into that thing you'd get better use out of MSN Messenger. I prefer both equally.
