Tori Amos - Her music is magical to me. It brings me through a full range of
emotions. If I listen to "Little Earthquakes" I'm taken back to the first
time I ever heard the CD. I think I was 14 at the time. It was the first
time I'd even heard of Tori. I sat upstairs in my cousins room for 8 hours
and listened to the CD on repeat. I filled a whole journal that day.
Thunder storms - As long as I don't have anywhere to be, I love
thunderstorms. I love the wild fury of nature. The pounding rain...the
howling wind. The thunder. The lightning crashing. It's so raw and romantic.
Great for reading, writing...
monkeys - I love monkeys. They are so funny. Every time I hear a monkey
noise it makes me smile.

Nice post!
One of my favorite sounds is a fish tank or a indoor waterfall. I really think the sound of the water being filtered is relaxing.
The rain when its falling steady and a little rumble of thunder, I dont think a storm sounds good but I do like the sound of rain hitting the roof.
I like the sounds of our hourses at the barn when its early morning, the birds are singing and the horses are ready for breakfast. Its so calming and solitary. Sometimes I wish it was 5:30am the whole day!
I know you said three, but the sound of my hubbys voice is very soothing. Especially when he is away at a race and we have to speak on the phone for a few days. It really brings a smile to my face everytime!

I love water too. I miss my fish tank. I used to have horses too, so I know what you mean about that.

Wow, that was cool. I like Tori Amos' sound too. She is very drawing. I love that song "Caught A light Sneeze".
I also love the sounds of Rascal Flatts. Their music just cries to my soul. that might sound corny, but it does.
I also love the sound of the violin. It is very calming and takes me to another place. Great question!

I agree with you about Tori, she is my absolute favorite person to listen to, i remember the first time i heard her was in my senior year of high school,my friend and i shared an art studio together. she had brought in a tape of Little Earthquakes and we listened to it as we painted. I just remember being in awe at the power in her songs and in her voice.
I also love the sound of bamboo windchimes,it reminds me so much warm evenings at the beach.
Strangely, i like the sound of crickets;it reminds me of my childhood, playing tag with the neigborhood kids after dark, watching the lightning bugs light up the sky.

I love the sound of Amy Lee - her music is amazing. Evanescence are a brilliant band and have a whole range of different rock sounds, they do up beat songs, but they do the softer rock ballads too and Amy Lee has such a strong and powerful voice and very beautiful songs.
I also love the sound of cats, lions, and tigers and any other cat related animal sounds. There my favourite creatures and I love the noises they make.
As for my third favourite sound, I'm not quite sure what I could say - possibly the noises of dolphins as there another animal that never fail to amuse me.

Dolphins scare me... I saw this Discovery Channel program about them and they are a little creepy.

U2's "City of Blinding Light" - I love love love love this song, seriously my heart skips a beat everytime I hear it. I really think it's so beautiful.
Rain - I love the sound and the smell of rain. I love being inside and watching it rain outside the window and just listening to it pound on the roof and the sidewalk.
My cat purring - I love this because that's how you can tell she's truly content and happy. When I hear it, I wish I could be happy with the simplest things.

1. Drum n Bass... this type of music really gets me going. I love dancing and the sound just runs through my blood.
2. Water... not like a river or anything, but like a fountain or the rain I have a small fountain in my room I love falling asleep to it.
3. Jungle... This type of music is awesome, it's similar to drum n bass, but I love the rainforest, so it reminds me of living in a jungle or something.

I like both of those types of music. You don't live to far from me... I was going to ask if you ever went to those crazy all weekend cabin parties in Riverview... but you would have been 14 when I was going so I don't it. Are there any good places left to listen to Jungle? It's been a while.. I used to go to Masquerade, the Orpheum...a few other places

The best ever sound is of a baby gazing adoringly into your eyes and making gurgling sounds that say quite distinctly to any mother "I love you" Nothing can compare with that sound.
Secondly, the sound of children laughing and playing.
Last but definitely not least is the sound I will hear one day: the sound of my loving heavenly Father saying "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter your reward."
