Need advice to decide how to start

Why don't you take up PHP scripts? It'll bring some dynamics in your site. Also I say it's easy to learn it. You just have to embed small script tags to make your website dynamic. Also you ll find many free PHP scripts on the net, which you can download and put it into your website. PHP also has implicit support for mySql database. As a web programmer, if you want to use Java than, you have to learn atleast JSP or servlets to make dynamic pages. Hope this helps in some sense. Do post your comment. I don't think Java is a beginners language. There are many who don't take HTML as a computer language and I am one of them. If you decided to learn java because of its popularity i would tell you don't start with java. First learn C or Python. You might be hearing Python for the first time. But let me tell you it is a very good language for beginners and also very powerful. C language, no doubt is very powerful language and recommended by many as the first language to be learned.
