Shane Warne,Adam Gilchrist,Damien Martyn and Glen McGrath who are the top players of the world cricket, who have topped the ICC cricket rankings with an everstanding position ,who are the backbone of australian team, who made their nation proud, and made their team world's best team in cricket.
Well after the retirement of these fighters of the Aussie force,do you think that the strength of this team will be the same?
Will Australia be able to bring the most appropriate replacements for the team so that they maintain the top position.

hey buddy...nice topic...well i wana say abt this that...these players are truly the leading player in the game..they hav ther own positions....they are serving ausies for years...but every good thing has its end one day..so the time has come for these legends..on the other hand the new upcoming players are also proving themselves..they are highly talented and are the future of ausies cricket.but they still hav to go a long way to be at the place where these legends are.they need to put in more determinaiton and hardwork...success does not come as complimentry.

It is quite possible that upcoming players of the team like Hussey,Clark, bracken,Lee etc will will take there place as Dominating Cricketers which they have already started to do.We have seen that many times when an international team goes to Australia for tour and faces the first class cricketer of Australia they face defeat as Australia is a country of great talents.

these are the backbone of australian team i agree with u but i think still their strength will be the same .
actually i have felt that they have team sprit . they play for there country not for their own . so whether these backbone will not there they still will be in good postion .

I think the Australian cricket team is on top because of the primary stratergies of there cricket control board( not like a BCCI on time stratergies) There cricket control board not only take care of international cricket but also develops different skilled ones in there first class and even domestic cricket. So that i dont think they have any problems after these biggies retirement.

i dont think so that the austrilan team will be effected because this team does not depend on three or four players they have team spirit.
there will be little effect but not so much that they start loosing there match.

They planned themselves well in advance with their rotation technique. They may have players who are young and have not been around to have proven their metal as these four, but they do have youngsters who can go a long way to come in and maybe script some more illustious careers in International cricket....

this is not going to affect the aussies so much because they have a lot of standby people available in their country and the cricket structure in their country is far better from ours so they would always remain a good side....

I THINK CRICKET WILL GOES TO A DARK PHASE.SIMILAR TO THE 1986-87 SESSIONS WHEN LILLY ,CHAPPEL HAD TAKEN RETIREMENT.WE SHOULD HAVE THE CHANCE TO DEFEAT AUSSIES BADLY.EVERYONE HAS A TIME.AUSSIES HAD SPENT THE GOLDEN TIME.NOW WILL BE ROCK.CRICKET INDIA WILL ROCK IN THE FIELD.

hi bro.well urs is a valid question, but i think it will not really affect australian cricket because they have a very strong domestic structure which has a standard very near to international cricket.

Yes they are top players n australia will sure miss them but wasn't steve waugh a gr8 allrounder and wasn't Mark waugh one of the greatest openers of his time.In australia the senior players feel the need and blieve that theres much talent waiting for them.so they just go ahead and i think 15 yrs of career is more than enough.we cant keep on comparing from now..the best is yet to come out of them
