Name of final Harry Potter book announced / myLot

NEW YORK (AP) -- We now have a title for Book VII: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." Rowling's U.S. publisher, Scholastic Inc., released a brief statement Thursday announcing the name of the world's most anticipated children's book, the finale to her phenomenally popular fantasy series. http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/books/12/21/books.pottertitle.ap/index.html Are you a Harry Potter fan? "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"... Deathly Hallows? I must admit that I am disappointed with this title... Not as intriguing as any of the other titles. :( Oh well, if she has released the title than that must mean that the release date of the book will be released next (whoa... that's a lot of release). Thanks for posting this... I was looking for Book 7 information earlier today but didn't find anything. I am so incredibly excited about the next book. I am hoping for a 2007 release.... probably will be in December, but I would love for it to be sooner. I could go on and on but I must get offline now, so maybe I will post later about my thoughts on book 7.

Thank you for your post! I'm a big harry potter nut myself and have been searching the info for a while now. I must agree though. the title isn't as catchey and mysterious as others... but she can also be worn out from writing the series or more of hurting inside from ending the series. I read a while ago that it MIGHT be relased 07/07/07 due to 7 being a magical number.. but that is not confirmed yet.. and with the 5th movie coming out in July I kindof doubt it. but who knows.. the can come out at the same time...
