Men and women are born to enjoy the same right. I don't see there should be any problem for a woman to be in ministry. Some women can do a better job than men in ministry.

I have no problem with women as pastors. Women are the natural caregivers - this is the way god designed them. So since much compassion is required as a minister I would think women would make the best ministers. Jesus never said don't let women preach. The oder came from Paul who didn't aways agree with what Jesus taught. Jesus had many women in his inter circle who he respected very much. Remember he appeared to Mary Magedeline before he appeared to any of his male disciples. That should tell you something.

Yes Jesus appearing before Mary Magdalene means a lot.

I have no problem with women priest either. In this time of equality and freedom i do not see why they should not have the right to spread the word of god as any man. Also i find personally it is easier to speak about personal issues to a woman than to a man. So i'll say lets just get more females into our churches

Well I don't think we will ever see women priests after the Popes announcement today. Seems he is taking a giant step back for Catholicism. I'm glad I was only baptised Catholic at birth, it sure would never be my choice.

Now now hunni. You have to bre in mind that the pope is only head of the roman chatolic churh, which is just a part of the of the christian churches around the world. And despite of what he might have said today, i know that there are women priest in the roman chatolic church in England as we speak, probably this will be the case in other countries too. I sure hope anyway.

Oh, I didn't realize there were women priests, we might even have some here for all I know. I don't pay much attention to the Catholic church. In fact I find what he said today laughable. All he really did was put his church farther on the wrong side of the "one church" line if you ask me.

The catholic church has not let this happen yet, and I doubt very much they will in the near future. It's all about power. They do have female alter girls, which our church is using. To me, it makes no difference, just as long as everything is on the up and up, and there's no child molesting going on. Shall we talk about that????

They will provide you all the service you need. Theyare the people who stand for a cause. they really lay down their personal selves for the sake of serving others

I really don't know how I would feel in that situation. I don't have a problem with woman bosses, so I think I would be ok with it. After all a pastor is kind of like a spiritual boss of sorts. But at the same time, I've never been put in that situation. The husband is supposed to be the spiritual leader of the home, so that kind of puts women in a follow role; however, women tend to be more spiritual, so they kind of have an edge. I would like to think that I would be able to hear the Word of God regardless of whose mouth it is coming out of (man, woman, black, white, yellow, etc.)

I agree. I clean house for a woman Pastor. She has 2 churches. She is also a mother, she does a great job because she uses her mothering skills to take care of her flocks.
