Recent Polls show the 81% of South Koreans, 74% of Canadian and 60% of Americans are sressed out.....Are you one? and how do you cope or do you thrive under stress? For me I use to thrive under stress especially in school, however today stress can be painful and harmful to me.

I was told that my life outside of my work was stressing me out. I was fired, the stated that I could no longer do my job. Three months later, my life still has the same problems. Stress is no longer a factor in my life. I am happier, do not cry all the time. When I wake in the morning I am refreshed and ready to start the day. What changed, yes, I do not work for the people that stressed me out to the max.

Sometime trying to please others instead of trying to please yourself is the worse stresser of all. Glad you are doing better. Thanks for the post.

I am delighted to be better. I can breath without it causing pain.

I thrive on stress and people are always telling me that I work so hard. I'm not exactly sure how I do it but I always do relax once in a while by watching a movie or going out somewhere. But yes, I'm no stranger to stress/working hard for what I want.

Yes I think stress id a big problem, things are just not easy any more there are so many things to think about that once upon time there just didn't need to be thought about, the world seems to be a very stressful place and you have to be pretty strong to rise above it.

We need to reconnect we who we are not where we are going sometimes. We need to learn to be more spontanious and that is hard to do in a rat race of a world. thanks for the post

I'm usually not stressed but sometimes it happens, though. About two weeks ago I was worrying very much about my father's health, and then I got really stressed. My problem is, I'm starting to forget things when I'm stressed, incl. important work meetings, etc. On Thursday before last Thursday I managed to forget some important papers, and to loose my bank card, at the same day. Luckily it was my debit card only...

Major stresser here! Some people say that is why people get fibromyalgia. Type A personalities (people pleasers) get stressed out and get sick. Some recover but some of us are in this for life. When I get stressed my symptoms become worse - Pain, IBS, fatigue, headaches, can't sleep. One of the doctors told me I needed to get rid of the stressors in my life. Okay, my husband, my kids, financial issues... how am I to get rid of those?
Life is one big stress for me.

It is the same with my condition, I can no longer handle certain levels of stress and I have learned to put limits on things I do to prevent stress. Thanks for the post.

I hate stress, but it is a part of my life, with 2 kids and a husband that is out of work it is not fun. I can't handle the stress but when I take my nightly hot bath with lavender and mint bath oil it all melts away. I just wish I could have that all day!!
