How Do I Charge Money for E-Books I'm Selling?

I know there's alot of discussions on selling e-books, but I've got a real question I can use help with. I've been researching about publishing e-books and I'm not all the way clear on how an e-book is paid for. Do buyers pay through Palpal? Do I send them an email attachment after it is paid? I've self published my books for years, but I'm new at e-books. Any advise is appreciated! Thank you!

Hi! You set up a payment system on your website. There would be a link to your payment system (Paypal or whatever you use) and after payment is made, the user will be given the link to download the book. You can set that up through your web hosting service or they can at least tell you how. Hope that helps!

Oh! I am my own webdesigner, do I get my host to set it up, or can I do it myself?
