AMD or Intel ?

i feel core 2 has beaten amd in most of spects, with new core 2 quad 6800, the performance is dangerous, i go with intel as it was the originator

AMD IS QUIT GOOD AND IS AT POWER AT INTEL. LEADING B/C OF CHEAPER PRICES... EVEN NOW IT HAS COLLABORATION WITH "ATI TECHNOLOGIES" WHO IS A RIVAL FOR N-VIDIA... AMD HAS GENERAL MISCONCEPTION THAT IT GETS HEATED UP VERY EARLY AND REQUIRES COOL ENVIRONMENT.... BUT MY FRIENDDS WHO HAS IT , DONOT FACE ANY PROBLEM AS TEY HAVE INSTALLED TWO EXHAUSTS....AND ITS QUITE GOOD FOR GAMING TOO....... AMD HAS GAINED POPULARITY RECENTLY.. AND IS DOING A GREAT JOB.... WHEN IT COMES TO MY CHOICE I'LL PREFER INTEL 'CORE 2 DUO ' AS IT'S MULTI FUNCTIONING AND HAS A GREATER FREQUENCY... A GOOD MOTHER BOARD "ORIGINAL INTEL" GIVES U THE DESIRED PERFORMANCE... A CHIPSET BASED BOARD WITH P4 WILL GIVE U THE PERFORMANCE OF A CELERON.... SO, THE CORE PART I WANT TO CONCLUDE ID THAT INTEL BEING AN OLD BRAND IS LARGELY PREFERRED ... AND SO MAJORITY OF PEOPLE GO FOR IT....

AMD is now capturing the market. It will take time for them to be a natural alternative to Intel but it will happen.

I use an Intel Pentium 4 and think it's good but have another pc with AMD which is good too so I don't know which I prefer.

I prefer AMD because they are cheaper. I have been using the same amd processor for almost 5 years and I never had a problem with it. It's an amd athlon 2000+. Maybe in the future I will change it with a better one.

i prefer AMD since i am using one.I use AMD because --comparatively cheap --high performance --high stabilty --greater support for gaming i recommned AMD FX 64 bit computing.It has many advantage over intel pentium 4 processors.but i heard that intel pentium duo core2 is much better than other precedures and a like performance with AMD 64.so i f you are going to buy a new computer either you go for AMD FX 64 or Pentium 4 Duo core 2. thank you!

yyes its ture AMD is gaining a huge market share. I have one machine with AMD , other with intel, but i guess AMD is better, because its cheaper and performance wise I dont see much difference with Intel.

how many times i have to tell u guys specially for indians.. avg people don't think they will just see some commercials about intel which says that their computer will make their children a genius or improve their business.n go for it thinking that they are giving some adds implies that it is best.they just don't want to know about what is the present technology n who is leading with speed n efficient. i am not telling u that indians r dumb headed. they know that it hardy dose something but still they will go for it..... n coming to the topic or i will say fact AMD is the company who are repeatedly beating intel people by their technology. whether it may be a 64 bit athlon processors by 2003 or by the X2 series in fall 2006 n now they are hitting the market with quad core octal core n multi core processors..... right now a laptop running with AMD sampron 2800+ 1.8 GHz n i am about to buy a desktop but waiting for AMD's octal core processors.....

though i use intel i do know that AMD rocks big time! with its speed and performance for gaming i do know it will be every gamers choice soon!

intel, amd follows cheap market tricks to get more customers.

when it comes to perfomance it is intel the best ..but amd is worth for the money u are paying
