ever got trapped in bad weather while flying??

I travel quite a bit and have never been trapped in bad weather while in the air. I have been grounded by bad weather either at my departure airport or arrival airport as the airlines usually take precautions prior to taking off. There was one flight in which I saw a hurricane from above. Granted we were not anywhere near being directly on top of the eye but we were close enough to see the swirl. It was an amazing sight.
