plastic or real?

So what do you prefer, a plastic or a real christmas tree. I am not a big fan of Christmas, so i don`t tend to put a lot of personal effort into it. So a 3 foot christmas tree, and couple of lights, and a bit of tinsle, and that will do for me. So how about you?

I prefer the fake trees. Real tree needles hurt when you step on them.

I much prefer fake trees as well, those darn needles get stuck in the carpet, on clothes and as you say when you stand on them.

This is actually the first yr my kids and I have had a real tree and I have to say I really do like it far more than our 6' fake one....the only thing I dont like is my kitten pulling it down, having to remember to water it and the damn needles all over my carpet, man those things HURT.....I'm not a big Xmas person either, hell I've spent more Xmases in a bar or alone in my hotel room than I have with any friends or anything but I have to admit it was nice watching my kids and husband pickin out the tree and cutting it down and carrying it etc..it was fun and we were all really cranky that day too LOL
