I am sick of discussions about abortions and people claiming that it is murder. The embryo is not a human! Would you rather have a person who is not capible of taking responsibility for their child bring him/her into the world and neglect them. The world is overpopulated as it is is it necessary that we let all embryos develop into babies only to be raised by terribly selfish and neglectful parents and turn out to be dead beats who contribute to stealing, killing, rape and murder? It's really the mothers decision if she decided to abort her child than SHE and only SHE will have to be the one to deal with the consequences and the regret. It is not up to us to decide.

I totally agree! As long as the woman is educated about abortion to make that decision.

I would not call it murder. It is up to woman. However, woman needs to be educated before is making final decision.

The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between.

I do understand and have been in positions where abortion became a very real possibility due to rape. My family was really pushing up the issue, but I did not feel that abortion was the right choice for me, because it was not the baby's fault. Fortunately a baby was not concieved from that & I did not have to make that hard decision.
If anything I would give a baby up for adoption, but that's me.
I might seriously consider abortion if I knew that the pregnancy would 100% without a doubt kill both me & the baby, because I have 2 children right now who depend on me, (and a third on the way). I would be devastated, but I can't just think about me & the baby I'm carrying, but also 2 more.

This is a touchy subject. Sometimes I get confused on my feelings in the matter. I do know that it is up to the mother what she wants to do though. And she will have to live with it.

I do not believe abortion should be used as birth control, and as an embryo I believe they are to prescious to just waste. I do not see why instead of Aborting they can not insert the embryos into serogate mothers or mothers who are trying to have children of their own and are capable of carrying, instead.. or aborting.
But as far as do I consider abortion murder. It really to me depends on how far along the development is. If its less then a week. Then no I do not, after the first week, than I do...
I however believe that Abortion should not be done, and that the morning after pill maybe a better choice...
But I also am not going to tell a woman, and her doctor what to do or not to do with her body. I believe it is up to them, and the father as to the choice they make.
But I see abortion before the body is formed into a tiny fetus, as no more murderous then a person who has their period, if you think if it in a way this is natural abortion, just there is nothing else formed yet...
Abortion is better than what some of the animals do, they eat or kill their young after its born...
I prefer adoption, or the serogate mother idea instead of abortion...
but as far as if it is or is not murder, It depends onthe stages, but I do not judge a mother based on their descision nor their doctor... It is the hardest thing to face in the world without others telling them what to do or not to do.

Science does have that technology, I was reading a website about it a few months ago. I do not have the link for it, but it was for people who wanted to donate embryos to serogate mothers.. I think it could be only done in the very early stages, and they had to make sure blood type was right, and all kinds of other things. I know they grew entire animals in test tubes so I know the technology does exist. - DNatureofDTrain

Very interesting, would you still happen to have the link or remember in what country it was being done? It will take years if not decades after the technology exists for it to become available in more areas I'm sure, but I'd be curious to read about it in the meantime.

A pregnancy can be intentionally aborted in many ways. The manner selected depends chiefly upon the gestational age of the fetus, in addition to the legality, regional availability, and/or doctor-patient preference for specific procedures. The emphasis must be not on the right to abortion but on the right to privacy and reproductive control.

I think you last couple of sentences sums it up perfectly. If it's immoral, if it's a sin, if it's wrong; let God address it when the woman reaches Him. In between now & then, women have the right to make the best choice for them in these situations.

I personally do not believe in abortions except in extreme cases. Rape preganancy being one case.
I do however believe it is a womans choice to do whatever she feels she needs to do with her body BUT I also believe a man should have a say so as well. This is his child also right? What if the woman wants an abortion but the man wants his baby? Do you still believe it is ONLY the womans choice?
What I do have a problem with is women who use abortion as birth control. I have step children and I love them like my own but my first wife could not have children and my second had tubes tied.
Not having biological children of my own makes me take a different look at things. People disregard a fetus as not being a person. It is a potential life and maybe a great one. The world needs more great people.
The ther thing is there are millions of people who cannot have children for one reason or another and to watch women disregard potantial life and a child that could be given to someone who would love and care for it makes me sad.
Abortion is not a womans right.....It's a couples right...

Yes, it is still ONLY a woman's choice. God/Nature/Whatever you believe in, has decided that women & women alone bear the weight of pregnancy, birth & nourishing a newborn. If God has determined that we are capable to do these things on our own, then by default God has also decided that we are capable of NOT doing these things.
I'm sorry that you are not able to have biological children if that's what you would have wanted in your life. But I am in no way responsible for that, and I do not owe any one a bouncing, healthy, (preferably white) baby because I am fertile.
