Homer is the funniest character on the show its not even close. Without homer there would be no Simpsons.

Yeah he is the best father alright. Hehehehe if you mean spending more time at Moe's, yes yes too many temptations, well he was the best dad once, the time the "crayon" went off his ear... hehehe that was real fun...

Tough call. I would have to go with Homer. Bart is great, but I have to give Homer the edge for being a survivor. After all, how can someone be that stupid and live as long as he has. He has gone into space, rocked out with U2 and even played baseball with Darryl Strawberry. Homer rocks. Dan Castanella rocks even more though. I have seen him on a number of interviews...often with Harry Shearer (Burns, Smithers, Skinner). He is quick witted and very talented. Congrats to him and the whole cast.
