Our City wants to ban fireworks, but should it be a states/provincial decision? I know fire works are a problem in some area and a lot people don't respect the laws that come with using fireworks but who should enforces banning laws?

Fire works shouldn't be banned because they look so beautiful at high heights and promote the feeling of a special occasion of happiness.it brings a million smiles on peoples faces and what more do we need?

I do not agree with the government trying to control our pleasures and enjoyment.Fire works have been around for thousands of years but with one swipe of a pen can be wiped out by burocrats thinking it is for our own good??

No I don't think they should be banned but they should be sold closer to the time of Bonfire Night and New Year so that People don't let them of weeks before hand

No, I don't think so. They are nice to watch, and there aren't so many events in a year, when we can see firework. Anyway, there should be (and there are, actually) some limits. For example, there are no fireworks available before and during Christmas time. And I guess, in the middle of the town, between the big houses is not the best place for it.
