How to deal with Negativite Co-workers....

Some people exude negativity. They don’t like their jobs or they don’t like their company. Their bosses are always jerks and they are always treated unfairly. The company is always going down the tube and customers are worthless. Every organization has some – my suggestion is to avoid them. What do you think?

I worked with a co-worker who was like this everyday. She had the office right across from me and actually worked under me. She was so miserable with her work life and home life. Every day for 3 years I had to listen to her whine about work and watch her try to manipulate people into giving her better and more things. She was very competitive and made it a point to let anyone who would listen how she felt about things. Finally she was released of her position and not a day to soon. She has been gone almost a year now and I have really started enjoying coming into work without hearing her. sometimes these people can not be avoided.
