And if so, how do you handle it? When it comes to blizzen how do you go to work? Does it affected your income? is there any compensation if you can't able to work? Do you hate to live in that area? Can't you wait to leave? I haven't live in this area but I already hate it knowing that you can be stuck anytime when it snow season. What you people say about this?

yes does snow here but this might be the first christmas that will be white... have had 3 ft already but it has melted since. winter is not over by a long shot so just know there will be more. so i guess at the moment should enjoy the cold with no snow see what happens as the days ahead start getting colder and colder...lol

Good, that you always made it to work. I grow up in a country with two season only. WET and Shine! So when I got here in US, It is too cold that I couldn't handle it, but I used to it now.

I have been very luck where i live her in SC we hardly ever get snow we get ice ever year almost its very hard and sometime impossible to drive on. Sometime i can't make it to work because i live 20 miles from my work the i don't get paid for that missed time.

Yeah I used to live close to Lake Tahoe, and you still have to go to work most of the time. The only time you don't go is if the road is completely closed. If there's just chains or 4wheel drive then your expected to come in! You might get stuck for a day at most, but that's when me and my friends would go build a jump for snowboarding! I really didn't mind it mostly because it was just normal to me for so many winters.
