how can we save lives???

all my life all i want is to save life. i took up nursing but right now i don't want to be a nurse. i can still save lives even if i am not a nurse, right? but my parents always force me to take the scary board exam. why should we take that board exam anyway? it could only add up stress and anxiety to all who wants to be a nurse. there would be those who are deserving to pass but could not pass. is it not ironic some who graduated with honors failed during exams? is it not so unfair to their part that they have done all their best during their school days, then just failed in the board exam?
